Page 11 We are a classic husband-and-wife team and are now the Islands' longest serving restauranteurs, since early 1982 .
Both trained in London, we have been fortunate enough to have either cooked or served extensively for royalty and celebrities, holding senior posts in the capital's prestigious hotels along Park Lane.
In 1982, we fell in love with the Isle of Man, and opened our first restaurant 'La Rosette' in Ballasalla village, near the airport. Success followed, along with food guide stars - and the accompanying stress.
In 1996 we opened the simpler "Cafe Rosa" in the countryside, swearing by our unusual 3-day-a-week model, less stress, a better lifestyle and personal service.
